On Page Optimization
On page optimization is the process of making sure that your website functions in the most effective way as possible in relation to search engine. SEO use some techniques for optimizing the webpage.
On page optimization techniques
1. Keywords
Select a keyword that is most relevant to the overall page content.
2. Page Title
Page title should be small. Place the keyword close to the beginning of the page title. Maximum 60 character can use in the page title.
3. Meta Description
The meta description appears on a Google search results page under the page title. It will helps people decide where to click. Maximum 150 characters can use in it.
4. Body Tags
The page should have one H 1 heading tag and it should appear at the top of the page. The heading tag must be single and descriptive. Use descriptive sub headers(H 2, H 3) before every paragraphs. This will helps to catch the content easily.
5. Content Optimization
Content optimization is the process of making the content of a website more attractive to search engine and users. Use the keyword few times throughout the page content. Try to bold or underline the keyword at least once. It's a short description about the page content. Try to write unique description for every page.
6. Image Optimization
Images used on the page must be optimized. Then only search engine can read the image. ALT text method is used for optimization.
7. Link Optimization

It is a visible character and words that hyperlinks display when linking to another location on the web.
Eg: <a href="http://www.example.com">Example Anchor Text</a>
If two link are targeting the same URL, only the anchor text used in the first link is counted by Google.
8. Authorship Optimization
Authorship optimization is the process of connecting user/author to Google+ profile.
1.Create Google+ profile.
2. link to the Google+ profile by adding rel="author"
Authorship optimization helps to increase page ranking.
